Christmas Parade on December 2.
It starts at 11am but the parade actually starts at 1pm. There will be "Sweets for Christmas", a silent auction, and coloring contest for the children, pictures with Santa, and an Arts and Crafts booth going on down the Main Street of Thorndale.

Olde Tyme Christmas Celebration: Join us in historic downtown Hutto for an old-fashioned holiday celebration. The Olde Tyme Christmas event will be held Thursday, Dec. 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on East Street. Come out and enjoy free cookies and cocoa and listen to the Hutto Middle and High school choirs perform. There will be activities for the whole family. View a live Nativity scene, make a holiday ornament and have your child's picture taken with Santa Claus.

Beginning after the Christmas Parade(December 2) Santa will be at Heritage Square in Downtown Taylor to visit with children. Santa will visit again every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from 7pm - 9pm untill December 23,2006.Photos available by A Moment In Time Photography for $5.00.
Taylor Christmas Parade, Sat. Dec. 2nd
Santa arrives in Taylor during the Annual lighted Christmas Parade. Line up will begin at Murphy Park and the parade will roll down Main Street from 12th to 3rd
beginning at 7pm.
*Entries for the parade are available at the chamber office at 1519 North Main Street or by calling at 512-352-6364.
Deadline is Tuesday, November 28.
Annual Salsa Contest, Tue. Dec. 12th
Location : Heritage Square. The contest will take place at 7 pm. Anyone is welcome to enter the contest and take their try at being named the Best Salsa in Taylor.
